Dennis is a normal 12-year-old boy. He loves football and is the star striker on his school team. However, life gets harder for him after his parents split up, and his Mum leaves home.
His only keepsake is a picture of her wearing a beautiful yellow dress. He sees the dress everywhere; on the cover of Vogue, in the notebook of Lisa James, who is the popular girl in school. He loves it.
Surely, it’s possible to like football and dresses? Dennis certainly seems to think so. But what will his family and friends, or Mr. Hawtrey, his headteacher, think of a boy in a dress?
We don’t know if or when this production is coming to the West End but sign up to be the first to hear!
