In the overwhelming summer heat of New Orleans, Southern-belle Blanche DuBois (Patsy Ferran), a troubled former schoolteacher, has moved in with her younger sister, Stella Kowalski (Anjana Vasan) and her husband, Stanley Kowalski (Oscar Nominee Paul Mescal). Blanche brings with her a past that will threaten the Kowalski’s seemingly already troubled future which only leads to even greater conflict, changing all of their lives forever.

What is A Streetcar Named Desire about?

A Streetcar Named Desire follows the story of troubled Southern-belle Blanche who leaves small-town Mississippi and travels to New Orleans where she moves in with the Kowalksi family – her sister, Stella and her husband Stanley. Stanley threatens to uncover the truth about Blanche’s fragile past which causes her world to shatter, creating a violent conflict that changes the households lives forever.
