The Illusionist

What is The Illusionist about?

The movie version of The Illusionist sees the magician Eisenheim perform mesmerising magic tricks from simple sleight of hand to raising the dead. While trying to win the heart of Duchess Sophie von Teschen he finds himself in competiton with Crown Prince Leopold, who tries to get him out of the way by having him arrested on the grounds of necromancy.
