CIRCUS ABYSSINIA is back at the Underbelly Festival with a brand-new show that celebrates the extraordinary life of Ethiopian icon and Olympic legend, Derartu Tulu.
‘TULU‘ dances with the flags and flames of Olympic pageantry and races with the thrills of Olympic contest to tell the magical true tale of Africa’s first female gold medalist.
Full of dazzling feats of speed and flight, and rocking with the exuberant joy of its cast, the show presents TULU not just as a superstar but as an Ethiopian superhero, one to inspire us all to march to the beat of our own drum and hold fast to our dreams.
